i dont like gross ads... there i said it.

all that aside, at this moment i know wtfux ads are a necessary factor in keeping this site alive and kicking. the javascript does slow down the site, but the full screen ads at least let me skip them and i don't see them again for a while. i know having ads is a reality when it comes to keeping wtfux up... do you have a say in what gets advertised?

the ads that run are a pool or what's called "network ads." no, there is no other advertising site that we can use and make anywhere near the same amount of revenue. adbrite/blacklabelads is pretty much to internet advertising as paypal is to internet banking. you have other choices.. but they all suck.

i'm thinking about just having the full page ads on wtfux and removing the rest.

i honestly wouldn't mind them being on the front page, i try to click on ads every now and then to do my part in keeping this community around.
i remember during donate or die a couple years back when we had everyone clicking them all the time.

I tend to click the ads that hold the most hilarity, like those customizedgirl.com ads. Those were totally worth the click, and I click them every time I see them.
